Hiking is a great form of exercise that can provide many health benefits. For one, it’s free! It also helps reduce the risk for heart disease and diabetes.  There are so many different types of hikes you can do, from challenging to easy. You can even hike in your own neighbourhood if you want to spend some time outdoors but don’t have the time or money for an outdoor adventure.   Hiking with friends is a great way to socialize while getting healthy at the same time!
