In the April 24 election to fill the 22nd District House seat vacated by Chelsa Wagner, the Sierra Club has endorsed Erin Molchany. An active member of the Mt. Washington community and Exec. Dir. of Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project (PUMP), Molchany is particularly interested in transportation issues, including public transit. In the 39th District David Levdansky is fighting to regain the seat that he lost to Richard Saccone by 151 votes in 2010. In recognition of his reputation as a reliable Environmental Champion, the Conservation Voters of Pennsylvania has endorsed Levdansky over his opponents in the Democratic Primary, as has the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
