The fight continues to ensure that the developer of a hotel on the North Shore agrees to a Community Benefit Agreement. In the face of strong community action at the public hearings, the City Planning Commission is failing to act on the developer’s proposal. In fact, despite the community organizers’ best efforts to meet wiht the developer, Continental Realty , there has been no movement since the public hearing on May 26.

- Silver LEED certification for the hotel and amphitheater.
- Diesel emission controls on all construction vehicles
- Parks and open spaces.
