As a result of the December election for members of the Allegheny Group’s Executive Committee, Phil Coleman joins returning members Claudia Kirkpatrick, Mike LaMark, and Marilyn Skolnick to fill the four open slots on the nine-member committee. Thanks to all who took time to cast their votes and to Jackie Apone for the vote count.

Exercising their voting rights, in December 2007 members of the Allegheny Group elected Barbara Grover, Nathaniel Doyno, and Stephanie Simmons to serve on the Executive Committee for two years. Re-elected for another two-year term were Tom Hoffman and Jim Kleissler. Congratulations to all. They will join current ExCom members Renee Dolney, Claudia Kirkpatrick, Mike LaMark, and Marilyn Skolnick, whose terms expire Dec 2008.

The nine-member Executive Committee of the Allegheny group meets at 7:00pm on the second Monday of every month. All Sierra club members are invited to attend and engage in discussions of how the Group is managed. Meetings are held in the Sierra Club office, Forbes Ave, Oakland.
