Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Summer Reading Extravaganza

June 9, 2013

This is a big, annual event. We need people you can help explain our position to event participants and pass out free goodies to the kids. The 13th Annual Summer Reading Extravaganza takes place under the trees in front of the Main Library in Oakland. This a chance to “hang” with other Sierra Club members, pick up some good books at a very low price and, afterwards, have a beer and burger. The Extravaganza is Sunday, June 19th 12:00 to 5:00PM. Shifts are available.

Polar Bear Birthday

November 16, 2013

We need people to help pass out information and collect petition signatures at the Pittsburgh Zoo.  Join us on Saturday, Nov 16, for what always turns out to be a fun event. There are several shifts available. You can e-mail us at alleghenyesa@g-mail.com
